- Loading / discharging supervision and port captain activity;

- Preparing preliminary and final stowage plans;

- Liaising with stevedores and dock responsible for achieving highest possible loading / discharging rate;

- Seeking solutions for increasing celerity of port operations;

- Assistance to Master and crew in  respect of loading / discharging operations;

- Daily reports on port operations progress;
